Alexandra Palace Motorcycle Show

Yesterday I took a trip to the Ally Pally motorcycle show - being as it's <20 miles from me it seemed rude not too. After a lovely ride on a sunny Saturday morning to get there, Ally Pally itself looked great in the sunshine.

The show was pretty good all in all, very different to the Excel show etc, much more focused on local, small traders rather than the manufacturers. There were some lovely specialist bikes there such as the chopper below:

There was also large stands from Husqvarna and KTM

I was also lucky to meet and have a lengthy chat with Sam Manicom. I bought his first book "Into Africa" which I'll review once I'm done. He was very encouraging about my Africa trip, and was a fantastically interesting person to talk to.

All in all a nice morning out. The show had a great atmosphere and the venue is great.
